Recording Simple Stats

For the last 16 rounds Ive been collecting simple data to see if it can help me out with my game
I'm not a professional so this simple data will help me out, Am i hitting the fairway enough? Am i hitting the Greens enough? When I'm missing the greens am i getting up and down for par enough? Am i taking too many Putts?

Last 16 Rounds for me on a Par 66, 5200 yards, No par 5s and 6 par 3s

My Drives are pretty decent often hitting half of the fairways I'm happy with that
I know I'm not hitting enough greens and really working on that at the range, aiming at more specific targets
My putting well i dont know whats decent amount of Putts for a round but I'm fairly happy with it
My chipping has been really good but I'm still not making enough up and down pars, but perhaps that's a mix of the chipping and putting

Download SS2 matey, it will give you comparisons for your stats vs what you should expect at a given handicap etc.
Cracking bit of software.

Example, my round yesterday, I see that my bunker play round the greens and putting was dismal but the rest of my game is in pretty good shape.

Looking at those numbers, which I admit can sometimes be misleading, I'd say chipping firstly (provided that you're not chipping within 3' and missing the putt all the time).

GIR could maybe be higher if the course plays as short as the yardage suggests, but getting up and down is the main one.
Provided you're chipping from nothing worse than first cut and the hole isn't on a slope like the roof of a house, it doesn't take a massive amount of skill to get up and down 4 or 5 times out of 10 imo.

Looking at how good your scores are you should deffo be getting up and down more. You should make a decent share of putts 6 foot and in really especially cosidering you look like you should be off about 7/8 handicap according to them scores.

I rarely make a big putt or a medium sized putts, Im working hard on it but with little results
Last 2 rounds i made afew but on the whole not good enough

you can print them off, I can remember pretty much every shot if I record it on the same day.

WOW ss2 looks brilliant just the sort of thing ive been looking for started playing last yr as a bit of fun but getting serious this year and having just returned from working away ive got the time to really make a go off this game so big thanks to whoever invented ss2
