And finally joined a new club.

Moved from Upton by Chester last year as it was too far away when we moved house.

Eastham Lodge Golf Club Website doesn't do the course justice. Nice little parkland course, similar to my last. Shortish and tight.

There are 4 seperate holes from the main course that have a wierd inland links type feel to them. My fave 4 holes so far.

Hopefully have my handicap sorted for Goswick.

eastham is the other course i was looking at, im bang right in the middle of upton and eastham, never played there tho, what is your handicap?

enjoy it!

Only played it once and it beat me up. I think it would be wise to leave the driver out at first, and work up to it.
A thinking mans course, I feel.

I'm no stranger to the course. Played it a few times.

Driver can get you in to deep trouble. Even if you hit the fairway on some holes.

Has a great opener, short par 4 at a little over 300 yards that dog legs at the half. Approach shot into a cul-de-sac of huge trees to a green Protected at the front and center by sand.

Going for a game tomorrow. See if I can't beat the 84 I posted last week :-)

Lovely course Eastham im sure you'll be happy there, played it last year and its a good tight test, funny enough i passed it yesterday on the way to have a pint after work with the mrs! I was considering joining there myself and Upton amongst others but i already knew a few people at Helsby so joined there instead.

Happy golfing. :)
