Greetings to all,
I have bought a new grip for my driver, Cleveland Hi-Bore XL 10.5, regular flex Fujikara graphite shaft. Thought I would strip the old Lamkin grip and tape. I used my Stanley, but noticed a fine knife mark half the length of the grip. It doesn't look very deep, wondering if it will affect on the club when in use? I have stripped graphite shafts before, without any problems. I can't be sure if I caused the damage or if it was there previously, my father-in-law gifted me the club (haven't got the heart to ask him)! I've had grpahite shaft grips stripped and replaced at a pro-shop in the past and there is nothing to say, there might not be damage underneath other clubs in my bag - am I just panicking? :mmm:
