RBZ Rust

Whilst cleaning my clubs I noticed that there was a fair amount of rust on the hole of the head of my rbz hybrid.

Is this is problem ? If it is or isn't, is there a way of getting rid of it ?

I'd take it back and ask for a warranty exchange myself.

New clubs , especially as new as the RBZ range, shouldn't be rusting........ Unless you mis-used it

Wire bush will sort and just a bit of tlc, I had the same problem with my r11 rescue wood, but looks good now

I don't think a vicious hook counts as misuse :smirk:

I noted that someone was returning their to AG two weeks ago, not sure of the outcome but the word rust was mentioned a few times!

As for the picture, if I didn't know it was meant to be a golf club I would never of guessed!

Definitely needs to go back. Shouldn't rust even if they had been left damp in the bag in such a short space of time

You should not accept this, the metal should be treated to prevent this....it not a Vokey wedge! Get a replacement ASAP

You could always clean it as in the YouTube link on crazy yanks thread, that will get rid of rust and white paint!

Rub a little autosol on the offending area with kitchenroll to clean it up. Its only got a little surface blemishing judging by the pics a little gunoil or similar will keep it in tiptop.

The black finish on golf clubs does not protect against rust. Clubs need to be dried (especially if uising head covers), to prevent this happening. There is nothing wrong with the club, it's a lack of care issue.

Checked mine today, and couldn't see anything in the slot !

Would love to see a better picture though, as really can't see anything in the original one.
