Right earlier I hit 50 balls with the Burner 2.0 driver and god I was impressed its almost easier to hit a good shot than hitting a bad one with it, so straight and so long and I can now see why people can hit good drives with such ease....

BUT do I hunt down a Burner or wait for the RBZ???

What are the differences between the two? I have seen on here somewhere that they are practicaly the same, is this true ie shaft left and head size and shape???

I really hate the name ROCKETBALLZ though :-(

Any help appreciated

Thanks

I thought the RBZ were due out in March but I stand to be corrected. I can't wait to give them a go and hope they are as good as the reports from the testers on here and in the mag and the hype thats surrounding them

Yeah I am going to wait and try the RBZ before making my decision. No rush ill only wreck it on the horrible, dirty winter mats if I get it now anyway :-(

Not long to wait Homer, they're out on the 3rd February. Looking forward to giving them a bash too.

Yes the RBZ will be worth waiting to try out, whether you buy it, I cant say. The RBZ has adjustment that the Superfast 2.0 doesnt though. I hit the R11S further and straighter.

I will be testing the RBZ 3 woods against my current one, and have the AG vouchers available if it performs .... It's like Xmas again :)

I didnt find the burner 2.0 bad, just a little inconsistent, perhaps because of the longer shaft which I believe even TM have admitted themselves. When gripped down an inch It was a pretty good driver.
The RBZ does go further, but then again so does the R11S only not just as dramatically, I was hitting the RBZ fairway a fair trip but it just wasnt going at the height and shape I was used to. The R11s needed very little adjustment and an 80gm shaft and it went rightly considering how cold it was and we were using range balls.
With my 3wood though, Id rather hit it 250 and straight than a little further and worry about my seconds. On the day, I hit it off the deck and wonder if I had hit the RBZ of a small tee would it have went better..
Still very happy though.

Brendy Are you saying you think the r11 is A better fairway wood but the RBZ is the better driver

I am in the market for new driver And fairway woods and the rbz r11 ping g15 and new cobra are on my to test list hadn't really thought about mix and matching between the makes and models

The RBZ fairway certainly travels, maybe a few yards longer than the R11S fairway but it just didnt go where I was aiming, turning left quite abruptly, perhaps down to me, maybe a little because of the shaft I dunno. I was hooking it 240 on the fly which at least says something about its distance potential.
The R11S wood went straight with very little modification to the settings whatsoever and with a heavier shaft was going very straight and consistent.

Driver wise, the RBZ felt very very similar to my own superfast 2.0. The R11S actually went straighter and further by around 10 yards on the day, again with very little tinkering once we found the best shaft.

Try them all in as many shafts as possible.
