As good as he wants to be. The only thing that can stop him is himself. A super talent. Why Fergie cleared him off rather than just loaning him out god only knows especially after he himself said he is the best Midfielder since Paul Scholes

Apparently Ravel knew too many bad people in & around Manchester and Fergie decided, for Ravel's own good, that he had to move totally away from Manchester.
Also, again apparently, there's a clause in his contract that gives United first option if Ravel ever moves from West Ham.

Why have the clause to buy him back then if he had to move out of Manchester. I have heard the clause is upwards of £10 Million as well, don't know if that is correct though. To just get rid for what was 500k or something seems crazy. I know Ravel was wanting a big pay increase was Fergie was not wanting him to have. Seems like a bit of a fall out was had and Fergie spat out his dummy/stamped his authority down. I know he was hanging around with the wrong crowd but would be very surprised if that was the main reason why he got rid

He can be awesome. Him and Paul Pogba have enormous potential. However, they both fell foul of greedy agents (maybe themselves aswell) and if you believe what you read, they were asking for huge amounts of money. Same thing happened with Sturridge when he left City.

Maybe. Pogba has not done too badly though has he, regular starting role at Serie A champs Juventus and rumours of a possible move to Real Madrid in Jan or next summer. Again it has worked out great for Sturridge in the end. Hopefully Ravel can carry on playing well as he is a real talent
