Rain/winter gloves

Great until it gets cold......

Yes, my thoughts. Neoprene is the way forward in the wet and cold. Traps a layer of water between the glove and skin, which warms up and keeps the hands toastie. It has to be wet though. Also not sure if neoprene would work as a golf glove due to grip issues.

Another +1 for Macwets, had them a year but only needed to use them once and did the job perfectly.

I got given the FJ gloves as a gift, while they do thte job, the way they do it means the glove is ultra absorbant and in the winter ra9n you end up with very cold hands. I shant bother with them this year,

I have one FJ glove. Didn't think about it until it rained and I put it on. That worked fine but my right hand was wet and slippy still negating the grip effects of the wet glove. Lesson to be learnt, always buy wet gloves in a pair.
