...I'd like to play a few rounds while on holiday.

Two weeks off work and the bloody awful weather has done nowt but flipping rain. Yucking it down again today, so course will be waterlogged tomorrow, more rain for Monday when I have two rounds booked at Linden Hall.

A small win on the lottery, so I could change jobs, pay the debts and holiday some where sunny with non rain affected courses would be nice.

Looks like the only golf I'll be getting this weekend is Tiger Woods on the X-Box

If it is any consolation, it is a cracking day here and I am about to take the dogs and wee lass down to the beach for a while.............

Pal played Linden last weekend and won 2 fourballs in the prizes and promptly gave them away as he said there was no chance he was heading back to it and if he had with the 1st free fourball there wasn't a hope in hell he could have got anyone to go for the 2nd free fourball.

Horrific was how he described it.

I've played Linden before, but that was on a fair day, it's a canny course from what I remember and since starting to play golf again it's where I've shot my lowest score, so hopefully the rain will hold off and I'll get at least one dry round in.

I enjoy it but it isn't a place to go when wet weather is around.
