Anyone use them?

I ask because after monday and some showers I was changing gloves more than Michael Jackson and saw the Glenmuir MacWet gloves got good reviews, but £20 a pair on the high side.

I was out yesterday in horrendous conditions and used a Footjoy Rain Glove for the first time. Even although it was soaked right through and not entirely pleasant to take on and off when putting, it didn't once relinquish it's grip on the club at any point during the round.

Yep the FJ raingloves do what they claim to. If you like to take a glove off for putting it's not great though!

I've got a pair but they aren't Macwet's (will have a look and get back to you on the make)

They are the dog's when it is really heaving it down, they need to be saturated to get the best from them.

Just don't think about getting your card out to mark it!!! :D

Havent worn a glove of any sort for over 15yrs.......vastly overated things.

Save your money. If Freddie Couples can play like he did/does without ever wearing one, pretty sure we all can.

The footjoy rain glove is amazing I have also only heard good things about the Mcwets, Not like in my day (trying to sound really old) playing in the rain used to be a real battle to try to hold on to the clubs but these are really good -
there used to be a guy at our club that swore by marigolds in the rain, but I think he may have been mental.

There is a fella are my club who plays golf wearing what the americans call a fanny bag!!

GM team, any plans for glove reviews in the mag at any point that could include rain/weather ones?

Please dont tell me he kept his tees etc in it that is horrible - Ban him

I've used the FJ rain glove for a while especially over the wet winter we just had. It is brilliant and is like a hob nob being dunked and seems to suck the water in and wants more. I've not heard of the mcwets

Been using MacWets for a while now - plenty of call for them in Wales. They are def worth the outlay seeing as they're very durable.

Windy, do you wear both of them?

Homer, does your right hand slip on the FJ ones, or do you have the wet weather pair?

Don't laugh. I bought some Top Flite RAIN gloves from Sports Direct for £2.99.
Perfectly fine.....
