Massively over rated as a manager.

Where should he end up? On the managerial scrap heap, along with Martin ONeil and fat Sam.

Not a great manager in my humble opinion. Like a lot of the so called big names (Ericsson etc) always seemed to lack a plan B if things went wrong. Not sure where he'll go but another I wouldn't want at Fulham if/when Hughes goes (start of the new year is my guess)

Was watching a Liverpool game some months back, they were either 1-0 down or 2-1 down so what did he do,took Torres off, when he looked like the one who could score.Imo lost the plot at Liverpool, which for me was nice as he took them to lower depths. He will probably end up back in Spain somewhere.

Quite evidently incapable of dealing with any form of pressure.

His La Liga titles with Valencia aside (coinciding with two below-par Barcelona and Real sides it must be added), he seems to me to have been just about the luckiest Cup manager ever.

Arsenal, West Ham, Atletico and AC Milan must all still be wondering how they 'lost' those finals.

Getting the boot from Inter after just 5 months tells you what they thought of him and there was no excuse of 'inheriting a poor side' this time was there Rafa?

The fact that so many scallies seem to seriously want him back only serves to confirm to me how ridiculously deluded they are and how preposterous this idea that they are 'proper' football fans with great knowledge is.

And he looks like a Mr Potato Head...

I'd love to see him back at Anfield, but that's because I'm an Evertonian. As someone else said, one of the breed of over rated managers. Got lucky a couple of times, but his tactics and transfer dealing are s one h t

Still, I'm sure he got another couple of million as compensation for being crap

I'm a Liverpool supporter (but not fanatically because football is loosing interest from me for many reasons) but I would not want to see him back at Anfield.

I think Rafa is a great coach and tactical reader of the game, but he is a poor manager of people. There are too many players to name who have passed through his hands that came with so much promise and left as flops. Why?

Read Steven Gerrard's autobiography! Rafa cannot talk to people about anything other than football. When he arrives at the club he doesn't ask about the kids, the wife, how the holiday was etc, he is 24/7 football.

Houllier on the other hand, he I would have back at Liverpool. He could manage the players, fire them up and calm them down when needed. He just could get a goal keeping coach to work along side him!

That is the most ridiculous statement i have ever read.

Houllier is doing a fantastic job at Villa isn't he?? :D
