looks like I will have a decent view of this as it comes over Tower Bridge, as my office is about 100 yards away!

Saw the Arrows flying over Stoke Rochford the other day, not sure where they were heading, shame they can't fly around until Thursday when I'm in London for the day.

Proud to have served my time in the RAF and good luck to the next 100 years

Working from home today but watching it now on tv - The Mall is packed!

Just had couple of C-17 Globemasters plus couple of C-130 Hercules transports fly quite low and right over top of my house followed by 6 Chinooks and 3 Pumas - all quite probably heading to RAF Odiham, cool.

Plus at the moment many of the world's manufacturers and airforces are doing their practice displays just down the road in Farnborough prep'ing for the airshow next week.

I’ve just seen some footage of them flying over Nelson in a 100 formation, simply brilliant.

It just give me goosebumps just watching on the telly - would have loved to have been there

They are the baby of the forces but can be very proud of their history and how important they have been to our society

Took ourselves to the Olympic Park and saw them flypast there...
OK, probably not the tight formation to be seen at Buck House and no smoke trails from the Red Arrows...
But a great view none the less...

Absolutely brilliant. Made me proud to be British, not that I wasn't already.

My Dad who was in the RAF will have been beside himself with excitement!

My son in law joined the raf a year ago and works on fixing the chinooks so he was up at dawns crack getting them ready.

the one aircraft that would’ve made it even better is the Vulcan. I saw it’s last flight a few years and was stunned by how graceful it was

The Vulcan Flew over my old gaff a few years ago. One of the last flights but not the actual last flight.

I’m sure he hit the ‘brown note’ in the revs (Liverpool Phil could possibly explain more?)
Basically the jets screams when a certain RPM is hit. I think it’s an anomaly and no one is quite sure why the sound changes so much?

Jesus I nearly hit the deck. Unbelievable sound. Like a tyranasurus shouting down your ear drum.

I’ll happly rip the baby service as I’ve done my time on the grey funnel line.

I’ll admit it gets the goosebumps up when you hear the crabfats giving it maxy chat in the mechanical budgies though.

Makes you bloody proud.
