Want to give the big dog the respect it deserves and christen it on the tee boxes of Bowood. Would like to review after an actual playing round rather than a driving range session ! Also have put an Xcon Shaft in it aswell but will switch back to the shaft I was given for the review !

Had a hit with an r11 with it in and loved it ! Will be interesting to see if it is as good with the r11s larger head !

I am sat here in envy mate. Just out of curiosity did it originally have the TM Aldila RIP shaft fitted. What makes you want to use the OZIK shaft? I am looking at getting fitted for an R11s but after having a go with one I think the stock RIP shaft may not be the best one for me.

I havent hit the R11s Driver yet, but did hit the R11s 3 Wood with Stiff Aldila Phenom, and found it very decent and stable as a shaft

Adey, is It bad to be happy for your jealousy ?! Haha and chosen the Xcon as it is for one nice on the eyebut mainly I love the mid launch ball flight and the low spin perfect for a driver and 3 wood. I could put you in contact with the guy I have got mine from he sells off ex demo matrix stuff dirt cheap just have to get the adaptor needed for them?

Right thought I had better put something up after the trip to the range ! I battled the conditions and went out and gave it 50 balls at Bowood driving range. Anyone who's hit on it will no it has to be a big hit to clear the fence and even bigger in freezing conditions. The shaft is awesome I would recommend the phenom shaft to someone looking for mid - high launch. I don't think I will use it over the xcon but it's a lovely shaft and way better feeling than the stock r11 blur !

Nice...interested to know if you came back with ringing in your ears? I've had 3 sessions at the range now with mine and boy is it loud.....after the last session, my hearing took about 2 hours to return to normal......it felt like i'd been on an aircraft and couldn't clear my ears. Will be digging out a pair of earplugs for my next session.....
What settings did you have it on?

Love the sound ! You know you have hit it which is good ! Unfortunately so does everyone in a 20 mile radius ! And that is set up at 9 degrees and soft closed with more weight in the toe .

thats interesting....it's exactly the same set up as i have mine....Since I moved everything to those settings, I've been getting some great results......only at the range though at the moment.....cant wait for this snow to clear so I can see how it goes at the course. I can only think of 2 holes though at my place I'll probably use it because that 3 wood is seriously long......
The other times I can see me using it are into the wind with that Grafalloy axis red shaft I just bought from Crawford..........should be able to lower the ball flight with a fairly normal set up, instead of putting the ball back a bit and teeing it down.....I always seem to pull it left when I do that. Non-windy day?....stick the Phenom RIP shaft back in......sorted.......so many choices!!
