R11 / R11 tp

For all those using the R11, are you using the tp version or the normal version? Has anybody tested both and noticed a big difference between the two? Looking at trying one out and have been advised that the shaft in the standard version isn't great - obviously dont know that for myself though until I try them out.

not sure about the shafts mate, but i have the TP version and am getting togrips with it after a week or so.

Was told that the reg on the TP is a bit stiffer then the reg R 11.

As far as I am aware, the only difference is the shaft, so any difference would be down to this.

got the standard R11 and its now firing on all cylinders. May attempt a shaft adjustment back to standard loft now im hitting it well.

Shaft difference is R11 58g Torque 3.5 / R11 TP 63g Torque 4.1

I have the TP.

The shaft is stiffer and has a higher kick point. Also, and I may have misheard/understood but I think the face is slightly open on the TP.

If, as your name suggests, you are a 28 handicapper I think you may be best looking at the standard head and shaft to start with. TP afterall does refer to "Tour".

The regular R11 had a 'made for 'Fujikura shaft, the TP has a 'real' shaft and a more extensive range of custom shafts available.
