If you want to use it as pedestrian you will get two opportunities this week when it will closed too vehicles, otherwise it is no.

Ticket only.......sold out months ago.
It was open to an internet lottery and worldwide demand was amazing.
Locals a bit upset as many lost out.

We hope to drive across it tomorrow, if it's open. I remember driving my 1955 Austin A30 across the old forth road bridge, the day it opened 53 years ago.
We had to que for miles, then wait to pay at the toll booths.

We've been debating at work just how the four lane new bridge replacing the four lane old bridge is going to ease congestion...

I was told hgv etc will continue to use the old bridge leaving the new one free for cars and motorbikes.

Just on the way back from a wee run to Queensferry to see it. The wee car park down at the front between the 3 bridges must have one of the most spectacular views on the planet, an amazing place just to stand and look...

Rumour now is that it's opening tomorrow so they can say it opened in August but will be fully or partially closed next week so they can finish it....

Yes that's correct, presumably because it will be a fully fledged part of a motorway with a 70mph limit etc.

I remember playing on the M62 when they were building it. That will never close, it will be first trans pennine motorway to stay open 24/7. First year it was open it was the best ice skating rink in the Manchester area. Not a vehicle in site 😁

Parking for 100,000 cars at Queensferry could have been problematic.
