Whilst I'm all in favour of people spending their money how they see fit and according to what they can afford, I'm still trying to get my head around the concept of paying 900 quid for a set of irons let along £2.5k.......
This. People have different financial situations and some wouldn't blink at paying for a set of PXG. Others simply can't justify the cost. It's like any luxury item, you cut your cloth accordingly so some people will have a flash car and others are happy with a small family runaround. I totally get the engineering and research that has gone into PXG and why it attracts the price it does but for me, one of the biggest turn offs are the looks. I simply don't like the look of them and if I had the budget I'd use it to go and get a full custom fit, with whatever shaft, not necessarily a stock option, that worked best. Like any golf purchase though, all down to personal choice
