Putting with glove on

I usually putt with my glove on and I never take it off during the round. Is there any real benefit in taking it off? I notice all the pro's take theirs off.

My glove goes on prior to stepping up onto the first tee and won't come off again until I walk off the 18th other than for rolling a fag!
Don't know if there is any advantage of putting without one on. I've just got used to wearing one all the time now and it doesn't feel "right" if I try to play a shot or putt without one on.

I try to remember to take my glove off during the summer months to try and avoid having one white hand and one sunburnt hand.

As for the putting bit, at my level I dont really notice any difference having the glove on or off.

The glove always comes off for putting in the green, but, if I'm putting from off, I usually leave it on - I really dont know why!

The argument is it allows more feel.

I always take my glove off when I'm chipping or putting - it's a routine I've long been used to and as a result I feel uncomfortable if I leave it on.

I take mine off when I do not need to take a swing that requires power, it protects me from soreness on those full shots. When I take it off I feel a little more connected to the delicate path of shots that require accuracy over power.

I define those shots as those where I keep my weight full on my left side, such as chipping, pitching and bump + run.

I have kept it on when hitting full shots in the bunker as it keeps me mentally focused on hitting it full bore.

I also take it off for putting as it feels bulky and uncomfortable with it on then.

I could wear a boxing glove and it wouldnt make any difference to my putting, what I did notice over the winter is how warm my left hand is when I take the glove off at the end of the round, and maybe during the 8 or 9 days that will pass for our summer it will be too hot for a glove all the way round.

I take it of between shots and don't use it for chipping or putting. Never have from the start and it feels odd when I've tried it (usually whrn it rains and the glove is already wet). Whether it makes any real difference with my ability is questionable but its habit now and I'm sure I'd fret about it if I changed
