Sorry but I can't seem to set up a poll however if a Mod can step in and edit accordingly then please do.

Can I ask this question honestly and without any prejudice or subtext.

If you've had a new putting method session this past year, has it:

A) Improved your putting?
B) How long afterwards was the improvement noticeable in your scores / stats?
C) Do you believe or indeed know for sure that your handicap has reduced as a direct result?
D) Are you still using the method?
E) Was there no obvious practical improvement?
F) And if E, have you gone back to your original method and chalked it all down to experience?

Aimpoint - not new for this season but...

A) Yes
B) Within a couple of rounds of doing the course after practicing how to get the read
c) Handicap has increased but was making swing changes for a lot of last year and currently just playing like a total muppet. Aimpoint has not direct effect on my inability epsecially to get a tee shot in play
D) Yes
E) Definitely seen an improvement
F) N/A

V-Easy and practice.

I need a lesson on grip, stance and aim.

Reading wise I go back to my first green reading lesson where the pro gave me his method of picking the point where the ball first breaks, you can only control it to there so get it right! (remembering this can be beyond the hole)

I use Aimpoint. Not saying anymore on that.

Increased the the length of my putter from 34 to 35.75, trying to improve my posture height and be able to swing the putter freely. Also been experimenting in practise and medals the Jordan Speith looking at the hole from 7ft and in. It's been reasonably succesful up to now. I've holed more then I've missed I know that.

A) Yes
B) Immediately
C) Not yet as I'm not a member of a club, but can see in the both the amount of putts I make or get close to making it has helped be drop shots
D) Yes
E) The pro got me bending my knees and leaning over a bit more, as well as picking a spot a few feet in front of ball for alignment
F) No doubt I will ever do that

Too early to tell but I'm messing about with an interlocking grip and it seems to promote a straighter backswing so far

The early success could be down to simply concentrating more on putts generally because of the grip change but time will tell
