Putting...arghhhh!

the reason i said about a more traditional putter is, when i cputt with the craz-e i can feel the big head going off line - yet when i have a quick go with a mates putter that isn't mallet type, its a lot easier to keep the head straight back and straight through...thats all.
And yes, practice is important and I do practice.
 
If the putter is going offline, definetly look at the V easy aid. It will lock your shoulders into the correct position at address and in your stroke and you will find using it on the practice green before a round will create muscle memory so you will instantly feel your in the right position and feel whether your take back is in line or not. There is a video on Bobs site, worth a look at.

I totally agree. Short range, a "proper" putter is the biz.
However, a big MOI mallet will pay dividends on long distance putting.
Ralph Maltby (yes, sorry, I know :o) did a test with some putting robots and various types of putter....

well, you know where this is going... :eek: :D
