Putter talk...

this is mine, you can just see the groove on the back of the blade. centre the white mark in the notch and align the mark with the ball and you should at least always be starting from the same attitude

The drawing a line on the ball thing has helped my putting heaps. I used to be quite fussy about having an unmarked and clean ball. But when it saves me shots, I can't complain.

"Good boy Rodney, you know it makes sense"

I love my 2 ball oddy.
I had a scotty before that and really struggled with alignment.
I mentioned before but will show my "theory" with my 2 ball.
When I stand up to a putt I make my stance and take a couple of practice putts above the ball, keeping my head still I stroke and watch for the white flash (blur of the 2 white markers on the 2 ball) across the ball and look up to see if the white streak is heading where I want it, if it isnt, I adjust my stance and make a second practice stroke above the ball, usually that is enough and settle the putter behind the ball and make the stroke, no loitering over the ball once my mind is made.
I made this pic to try to showe what I see when I make the practice putt over the ball. It certainly has cut putts of my round. Obviously not everything work for everyone though and putting is definately the most personal part of the game.
