Putter slipped !

Prior to addressing the ball on the green the putter slipped from my hand and moved the ball.

What is the ruling please? I took a one shot penalty and played the ball as it was.

A further point I thought that if when addrssing a putt and it moved, say by wind, there is a one shot penalty and if you do not return the ball to the original position on the green it is a further penalty ie 2 shots.

Any help would be appreciated

I think it's a case of replacing the ball under a 1 shot penalty. Then when the round is over go to the pro shop and get a new grip on ur putter. lol
