Putter Grips

I have noticed in the stores that new putter grips and particularly the new Ping ones have a lovely tacky feel. Does anyone have any experience of getting a similar grip for a scotty, ie either non branded or titleist branded?

a nice Winn grip or ideally a lovely Iomic grip is what you need

I have an Iomic grip which is very good. Cooincidentally I also tried Pings anser2 putters recently and the grip was quite amazing, I'd imagine a pro could fit one to your scotty

Just as easily to replace a putter grip as a normal clubs grip.

Recently changed mine from the standard Dunlop grip to a Black Widow Fusion Putter Grip.

What effect do the jumbo style grips have?

the jumbo grips are supposed to make it harder for you to use your wrists in the stroke, though for me they take away a huge amount of feel, my putter grip is by far the thinnest grip in my bag

Another vote for Winn grips. At this stage am needing new grips on my irons but planning to buy some new ones at the end of 2012 so may just keep scrubbing the old ones for this year!
