Hi Does anyone know of any fitters that will do a whole range of putters but also do a proper fitting- IE maybe SAM Puttlab or something more scientific than a retailer just handing you a few putters to try?
I am leaning towards just going for an Edel fitting as my coach does these but I would probably rather try a few different makes than being stuck with one but not sure where I could get what i'm looking for.
My Putting is ok but a bit streaky- it tends to be my takeaway that can go a bit awry and wonky and I've tried out a few counter balance ones which seems to stop this and keep it straighter but have heard with Lag distance they can be a problem too.
I also tried the putter Jason Day uses and loved it which was tempting but i'm thinking if I get that and it's not as good as I thought then i'll be annoyed.... so think i'd rather go through a full fitting process to be confident I'm getting the right putter.
