I've said I'll not drop my scotty from the bag but in last month I've had 3 games where I've had SIX 3 putts in a round so now I'm doubting whether I should start trying new putters or not ?
I know it's me not the putter as I've had games where I sink them from everywhere so may even just get a 2nd and alternate

A bad workman alawys blames...At least that's what my Dad always told me, but he couldn't putt to save his life:whistle:.

It's always handy to have a 2nd putter. Keep it somewhere so that your other putter can see it, helps to keep it on it's toes ;)

yes, YES this is whats been missing, I've always been loyal and monogamous to one at a time, but this makes sense, treat it mean to keep it keen!
I'll keep them together and let the other one see me take the favourite out to play........I can't lose now, I can't LOSE I TELL YA!

better watch out they don't read this as I keep them in the same room as the pc

I feel your pain my friend. I was in the same boat as you and posted on here a similar question a few weeks ago. The advice was mixed from those actively encouraging me to buy a new one to those telling me to man up, have a lesson and persevere. I'm not a chopper and changer but Swinger made an interesting suggestion.

He told me to have a look at the Dave Hicks 'Got the Vibe'. It's an insert that claims to enlarge the sweetspot by reducing vibration on off centre strikes. I contacted my nearest stockist but the pro suggested I look at my stroke first and gave me a few suggestions.

It turned out my tempo was too quick. I looked at bobs putting vids and slowed my tempo down and have putted so much better it's unreal. I still might have a Vibe fitted but I'd look at the stroke my friend. Happy putting! :)

Maybe that's the way to go played in medal this morning and should get another cut as was net 66 so that 2 weeks in a row I've had a stinker on the Monday and played well enough to get cut on the tuesday as for the putting had 2 3 putts today but one was to an upper level so only 1 that I was mad about .

Firstly.....Keep your body still ya bawheed

Tried that. Ball doesn't move. And I keep getting told to hurry up!

monogamous to one at a time

Being monogamous to two at a time costs even more than Scotty Camerons do!

Very expensive for something that shouldn't be required in the first place imo!
