Put YOUR questions to David Howell

David,

A lot has been made of the relationship between the player and caddy. Padraig Harrington praised his, especially for keeping his mind from scrambling down the 18th in regulation at the Open.

How much emphasis do you place on your caddy during a round, particularly the final 9 holes of a major or big event. How invaluable is their preparation before the event and during your warm up and what is your relationship like away fromthe course

Hi David,

I guess you have had to modify your practice regime to minimise the risk of injuries. How difficult has that been to implement without compromising your game?

Thanks

David,
You're under pressure coming down the stretch with the title on the line... what's the one shot you really don't want to have to face in your efforts to seal the deal?
Cheers
Furyk

David
For us fanatic Golf amateurs it is only a dream to be playing on the world stage which you are,Eg to be in the best events, on the best of courses and the best of weather week in week out., Do you ever get demotivated with it at any point and if you do what keeps you going and what pulls you out of that so called negative frame of mind?

David,

1. Gary Player famously hit the headlines this year when he claimed that several top players were taking performance enhancing drugs. Do you believe that to be the case?

2. Do you think European players are sometimes guilty of "settling" for Ryder Cup success because they don't feel they have a realistic chance of winning majors?

After your rounds and a spot of practice do the pro's / caddies mingle in the bar or is it a case of everyone goes their own way? Who's a bit stingy in getting the beers in on tour?

Thanks for all the questions - we put a selection to David yesterday and the feature will appear in the March issue of GM which goes on sale January 31
