10 mins of the pump drill in the back garden, looks like I might have found the face again.
I just spray paint an old ball and hit that into the net.
I will hopefully get some time tomorrow at the range to see what the ball flight is.IMG_3614.jpeg

Do you think that’s a good strike pattern?
Better than where I was, it’s moved away from the toe. I suspect it’s a bit high. But it was off a mat, so the proof is actually off the ground.

Unless you see something else?

Took it directly to the course this morning. Irons were distinctly better and more efficient. I then had a bucket of balls afterwards and worked on it a bit more. So now it’s going to be drilled in.

Quite a big dispersion - think that's what he meant by asking if you thought that was good.
Yup it’s not refined for sure, but that’s a 7 iron blade vs my G430s, that has very little real estate. The point was just 10 minutes and I had got myself back to a face strike. Not sure I will reduce it down to just a ball size print, only persistence and time will tell. But I have got a benefit already and I will give it a chance.

Changed my take away back to a slightly slower pace which then allows me to move my weight back to my lead foot. The net results are more central strikes. So I will keep working on this ..

Thought I would look at the MP20 blades this morning to see if I can use them.
5 balls below

Followed that up with another 10

Think I may try to play around with them. Need to calculate expected yardages.
