Currently have the early Xmas present to myself sitting in the basket.

I keep looking at the cost and backing out of the purchase.

I have the cash but i always struggle to pull the trigger on purchases that are just for me.

Does anyone else have the same issue when shopping online?

There's a couple of posters on here who need a trigger pulling on them.

If you can afford it, do it.

If I want it, got the money I buy it. Then regret it.

I must admit to having a number of hybrids on the watch list but after today they will probably be deleted. One bad shot sometimes gives me the urge to replace a club.

If I want it and I've got the cash then I get it
If you're hesitating, do you really want it?

Great point. It’s not exactly the one I wanted but it’s been discounted cheaper. It’s actually the top model that is now the cheapest of the whole range... I just don’t want the silly extra it has.

I’m hesitating at a 20% discount due to a silly extra I doubt I will use. It’s cheapet than the one I want but it’s technically better.

If it was in the years before I had a toddler the package would be on the way but I have a mortgage, family and real responsibilities now.

It may help if you said what it was.

Is it a blow up doll?

Not sure what the "silly extra" is, but you may be able to turn it inside out.

I think this is spot on. Have never hesitated over anything I want/need and find at the right price. I need to remember this as I have often put things in baskets and sat mulling over them. The hesitation is enough evidence to tell me to wait (for the right product, right price etc) but I don't always listen

I think your hesitancy is probably telling you,
A: You don't need it, and
B: You can't really justify the cost with more important things to spend the money on.

What the hell is it anyway?

Have I got this right; the item you're trying to avoid buying is better specced than the one you want, cheaper than the one you want but you won't buy it because it's got an extra feature that you don't want? Sounds like you don't actually want it at all to me. You've got an opportunity to buy a better specced model for less than the cheaper one, why not just buy it, save money and don't use the extra feature?

I'm with Imurg, if I want it & I've got the cash I buy it. If I really want it and I haven't got the cash I'll go to the bank. Last year brought home a few things to me so if I really want it I'll just get it.

I have a selfish streak (arguably inherent from being an only child) and so if there is something I want AND I can afford it then most of the time I'll go ahead and buy it.

I’m not an only child
However if I see something I want, that I can afford and like then I will buy it

I earn a good wage what’s the point if I can’t enjoy it

Life’s too short

Long as your bills are paid and your happy and healthy then life’s good

And buying stuff makes me happy lol
