Pulling the trigger

If you don’t want the extra, sell it. That will make buying even cheaper.

I, foolishly, went into the Apple shop yesterday... I now have a MacBook Air to go with the iPad Pro.

That is easily solved. I hate everything apple, its all over priced under specced junk. Just dont go in the apple shop. Sorted.

Have to disagree that it’s all that.. phones are pretty much same price than the high price Samsung’s if you buy them (except the x that’s just stupid)

However MacBook. I bought a pro in 2011 for £1000 and it’s still going. Just as fast as it was the day I got it

Before that I was spending £300-400 a year on a new laptop when they fell apart so 6 years for a laptop that still feels quality I’m happy with that

I have to say, after being a staunch windows and android user, I am fed up with all bloatware that comes with Samsung products, which can't be deleted, and Microsoft machines seem to be pre loaded with viruses these days. I'm still convinced that all windows machines have software in them that grinds the machine to a halt after so many years. Perhaps it's just the cynic in me! It's Apple for me in future. Can't be any worse.

I'm hoping my MacBook does something similar. My i7 HP windows laptop has lasted 18 months before its started to play up. And it wasn't cheap. Previous HP lasted 2.5 years but was horrendous in the last 6 months of its life.

mine was running a bit slow about 3 months ago.. I took HP assist off it (dunno how it got on there.. I dont own anything HP! my printer is epson) soon as I took that off its like lightening

bit of triggers broom situation with the mac just to tick it over.. I did upgrade the ram 2 years ago , and when I bought my ps4 it had a 500gb hard drive, the mac had a 320 gb , so for £50 I bought a 1tb hard drive for the ps4.. installed that, installed the 500gb in the mac and the 320 gb went in my old ps3... (which did have a 120 gb one, that went in my boss' sons ps3 as his had 8gb) , plenty of storage now

that and I have my own personal cloud storage at home lol

Apple killed my ipad with death by update. It ground to a halt. I have an iphone 6s as a work phone, and it is rubbish. I have an ipod for use in the car, still in warranty, but the battery life is shocking. Apple dont warrant the battery.
I bought a 64 gb ipod touch to replace a 64gb ipod classic. Except it doesnt. It has 10gb of bloatware on it that cannot be deleted.

If i buy an iphone with the same memory as a samsung, it is more expensive. Apple say memory doesnt matter, your music, photos, etc exist in the cloud. Not when you go on holiday to cornwall, or Arran they dont.

Rant over. Apple = expensive junk to me.

Back to topic:-

I always struggle with purchases that are me only. I always feel guilty about spending money that MAY be needed elsewhere in the future. This usually goes away once the stuff arrives though. :D
