Pulling the trigger

Currently have the early Xmas present to myself sitting in the basket.

I keep looking at the cost and backing out of the purchase.

I have the cash but i always struggle to pull the trigger on purchases that are just for me.

Does anyone else have the same issue when shopping online?

I must admit to having a number of hybrids on the watch list but after today they will probably be deleted. One bad shot sometimes gives me the urge to replace a club.

Great point. It’s not exactly the one I wanted but it’s been discounted cheaper. It’s actually the top model that is now the cheapest of the whole range... I just don’t want the silly extra it has.

I’m hesitating at a 20% discount due to a silly extra I doubt I will use. It’s cheapet than the one I want but it’s technically better.

If it was in the years before I had a toddler the package would be on the way but I have a mortgage, family and real responsibilities now.

I think this is spot on. Have never hesitated over anything I want/need and find at the right price. I need to remember this as I have often put things in baskets and sat mulling over them. The hesitation is enough evidence to tell me to wait (for the right product, right price etc) but I don't always listen

Have I got this right; the item you're trying to avoid buying is better specced than the one you want, cheaper than the one you want but you won't buy it because it's got an extra feature that you don't want? Sounds like you don't actually want it at all to me. You've got an opportunity to buy a better specced model for less than the cheaper one, why not just buy it, save money and don't use the extra feature?

I'm with Imurg, if I want it & I've got the cash I buy it. If I really want it and I haven't got the cash I'll go to the bank. Last year brought home a few things to me so if I really want it I'll just get it.

However if I see something I want, that I can afford and like then I will buy it

I earn a good wage what’s the point if I can’t enjoy it
