I know I am.

Visit Ireland & Northern Ireland.

Play great golf courses.

Get completely sh**faced.

I should be on our tourist board.

:D

Like most people, I have roots in Ireland...My Grandfather was a proud Irishman, yet I've never been there in 27 years. I hope to rectify this next year at an Irish forum meet.

I am from Galway. I have lived in England for 14 years this month. Looking forward to my next trip back to play some courses in my home county and Mount Wolseley in Carlow as my girlfriend's family live nearby.

Wolseley is a great spot isnt it ? playing society outing there next month .. it just down the road from me . if ya looking for company whenever you playing it gimme a shout.. love it esp the short 4th .. go for it or not with all the water

Where will you guys be going?

Hopefully Brendy will organise another weekend at Ballyliffin again. Looked a great weekend from the pics that were posted up here.

Hmmm, now theres a thought for the month :D

Maybe run an interest thread towards the end of the year. Would love to get back there, then again, a weekend of golf pretty much anywhere over here is guaranteed to go well. :D

To be honest mate, I don't care where it is as long as it's cheap as possible and involves some links golf. Funds permitting, I'm there.

£10 per week into a wee tin and you will have more than enough matey!

All well and good, but I'm already saving for Woodhall, Sunningdale and a 2 week, 5 star all inclusive trip to Cyprus to a wedding next July! I might have bitten off more than I can chew

looks like you need to prioritize.. Is the wedding trip really necessary?

Well it's being doubled up as our "main" holiday for the year (decade!) as well, so it's not all about the wedding.
Was joking really. I can just see the look on mrs Bluewolfs face if I tried to cancel the family holiday for some golf time. The look on her face as she kneed me in the nuts and rapped an iron bar over the back of my head...
Back on track though, if theres an Irish trip then I may be up for it. Back to my roots and look up the Walsh's in County Clare.....

i dont think i've got even an atom of Irish blood in me, but who cares

What a bloomin great reason for a celebration

P.S. What's Bernhard Langer doing on the left of that photo ???

Harrington looks like he's about to rob a bank.... :D :D :D

And whats the story with Macilroy.. :D :D :D
He's like a small Rolf Harris :) :) :) :) :) :)

Definately has to be another weekend next year Brendy, but somewhere different this time.

Dont get me wrong Ballyliffin was great but i cant justify going away for a couple of days as it too close to home for me and i missed out on way too much fun(for fun read drinking) at the Ballyliffin weekend ;)
