proposed new game for the board...

just an idea for a fun game amongst those on the board. we all like to brag about the birdies in our rounds but know its the doubles and worse that really do the damage. how about a game of killer where you drop out if you score a triple.

rules state that you must nominate your killer round before play.
1 game every two weeks. this gives enough time for people to get the rounds in.
the round must be on howdidido so that it can be verified.


I should have my handicap finally sorted out at my new club this week so ill be well up for giving this a go.

I do realise that some of the low low men might not fall out of this for quite some time but it should at least be a bit of fun.

any other ideas regarding rules before we try and get this off the ground?

it was just a idea. suppose the "no blob" makes it more inclusive. at the same time, do many high handicapers get through a round without a blob?


btw - the hdid thing was just a way to get the scores up there. in reality we could just post pics of scorecards. as its only for fun so theres little point in cheating !

I am probably blob free about 1 in 4 or 5 rounds. I guess most of us are the same. Nett treble? Dunno.

Good idea though.

Although I wouldnt last more than one round..

I had my best round ever last week (gross 91) with one triple.

The comp before I scored on every hole so no blobs, but that also had a triple.. 8 net 6 - 1 point
