2nd trip to the range after an extended break this evening, and after a struggle last time out.

Big improvement tonight.

Hit the irons well, was hitting around 80% of hybrids off the deck nicely and even got the 3W working off the deck.

Driver pretty good too.

Distance not up to much, and more dispersion than you'd want, but some decent strikes really, and it's given me confidence going forward now.

Planning a local game mid-late June and don't want to disgrace myself on the course that's for sure.

Get out, get playing and forget the score. There was a golfer in there when we played and he'll find a way out again

Don't want to be hacking it around that's all, but on today's efforts I'm confident that I could play a reasonable round.

Be interesting to see when I do get out

Injury issues seem well and truly put to bed which is good.

There will be some wild drives and duffed shots. There were before!!!! Enjoy being back out and I guarantee you won't embarrass yourself

Same boat, coming back.

I bought myself a pack of 6 lessons. Mainly to make sure my range time is put to best use (I go on lunch hour).

Only had one round but I broke 90 so pretty chuffed as at the first lesson I could barely hit a ball.

Probably the best time to take lessons is when your not playing regular golf as you can take the time to focus on the lesson content more.

Downside is I just don't get to put the practice into practise!
