Professional Golf 2024 & 2025

Golf on the PGA Tour has just become very interesting. No bomb and gouge in that weather. They had better be crafting shots, or they are going to be battered, literally.

I'm actually watching this rather than it just being on in the background. Finau was eaten alive on the 6th by the weather and then followed it up with a birdie on 7, just one of three great shots from his group.

Great course, interesting weather, interesting golf.

Even the pace of play seems to have improved. Maybe they’ve all had “a quiet word” from the tour, or maybe that’s just perception because the golf is more interesting. Anyway, tomorrow should be good; top 10 absolutely stacked with quality and Pebble Beach somehow never gets old despite being so familiar.

Any idea on the weather for today?

Unusual not having a US player in the top 6 on the PGAT, expect someone will move up later.

More than likely Scheffler will have his 4th rehab practice round … and still end up top 5 without even really trying. Looking scary for The Masters already.

Brandon Robinson-Thompson fully in the mix all weekend, coached by Liam Robinson, who I've been getting my lessons/drills through. Big, big moment for BRT if he can win!

On the sign it actually says 'Holes-in-one', which is just wrong, so wrong.
It's Hole-in-ones.
Maybe this should be in the Random Irritations thread, but hey ho.
Disagree :ROFLMAO:

"I've had several holes in one shot"
Not "I've had several hole in ones shot"

You can only get one hole in one shot, surely.
How can one have two holes in one shot?
You can't have more than one hole finished in one stroke obviously, several "holes each completed in one stroke" is the meaning.

"Hole in one" is an abbreviation of "hole completed/finished/achieved in one stroke", hence I believe multiple should be "Holes (completed) in one (stroke)"
