Professional Golf 2024 & 2025

Couldn’t agree more, terrible advert for the game.
We were discussing this yesterday after our game. I tried watching the first 3 days but with little flow or continuity or golf for that matter, it was just impossible. As I thought it would be, last night was better, up to a point. That point was when Nantz came on and started to wax lyrical about everything.

I have just realised that I still don't know who won.

I wonder how long the group in front of the final group took to complete their front nine?
Slow play is not always about the final group.
And yes, it certainly does need to be improved! Thank goodness for fast forward on the recording.

Whenever I watch the final groups they are always waiting around. Can't think of a time when they have lost a hole on the group in front. Back 9 seems to speed up, I guess there are fewer groups on the course and the log jam unwinds.

Despite a bit of gloom on another thread, this week we have:
Big boy pants tournament on the PGAT (if you don't mind the celebs)
DPWT in West Asia
Asian Tour in India

Past major winners playing in all of them 👍

So long as Bill Murray isn't there, I just might be able to endure it, mostly for the course. I love a bit of Pebble Beach.

Viewing figures will be interesting to see on Monday.
This week we have an amazing golf course with many superstars playing.

Should be a slam dunk.

I'm in for all 4 days 👍

So who do you think are the 3/4 players he is thinking off ?

Rahm , BDC and Koepka clearly 3 imo ?

Hatton , Smith or DJ as the 4th

This also works both ways…
LIV is only missing 3/4 of the top guys:

McIlroy, Scheffler (obviously), Xander are the top standout 3 —

In the fourth spot it’s either Morikawa, Hideki, or possibly Ludwig but the top 3 above are definitely a streets ahead of these. The rest of the PGA Tour….not a chance are they in the same league

So. Take McIlroy, Scottie, Xander and Morikawa on to LIV, and the PGA Tour pales by comparison
