Evening all,

I seem to have a problem with my grip and i dont know how to solve it. Basically I seem to be hitting the ball with my irons with a very closed face, which leads to the ball going to my left. Is my grip too strong? Or too weak? Or is it my clubs - they are a beginners set with an offset to reduce slice and i was wondering if that could affect it? I dont have this problem with my woods or hybrids.

I am considering a lesson with a pro just to sort this out.

any advice gratefully receieved!

Please have a lesson.
I suspect your clubface may be pointing left at address, hence the shot left, but without seeing you in action, I cant really say for sure.
A lesson will fix it for sure

Get yourself down for a lesson or two with Peter, Dave or James at the club. Do not listen to friends or other club members who may give you the wrong advice.

Think I will. No doubt a pro would be able to see the problem and hopefully suggest the best way to fix it fairly quickly
