Using the premier league predictor for the last three (Four if you are Hull and Sunderland) I've put in a win or draw (Wins being 1 - 0 or 0 - 1 and draws 0 - 0, not going to try and predict actual scores) and come up with the below final table. Do you agree or not?

For the last 3/4 games I see the results as:-

Week 35 - 4th May

Hull v Arsenal - Arsenal win

Week 36 - 9th May

Everton v Sunderland - Everton win
Villa v West Ham - West Ham win
Hull v Burnley - Hull win
Leicester v Southampton - Southampton win
Newcastle v West Brom - West Brom win

Week 37 - 16th May 20th May

Southampton v Villa - Southampton win
Burnley v Stoke - Stoke win
QPR v Newcastle - QPR win
Sunderland v Leicester - Sunderland win
Spurs v Hull - Spurs win
Arsenal v Sunderland - Arsenal win

Week 38 - 24th May

Villa v Burnley - Villa win
Chelsea v Sunderland - Chelsea win
Leicester v QPR - Draw
Newcastle v West Ham - Draw
Hull v Man U - Man U win

The table below represents the outcome of the predicated results above.

14 Aston Villa 38
15 Hull 37
16 Sunderland 36
17 Newcastle 36
18 Leicester 35
19 QPR 32
20 Burnley 26

I think the key to the run in are Sunderland's last two games and Leicester's final game; On the 16th May Sunderland play Leicester and a week later they play Chelsea, in the final game of Leicester's season they play QPR, if other games go to form then the Sunderland v Leicester game on the 16th and the Leicester v QPR game on the 24th, will decide if it's Sunderland, Newcastle or Leicester that join Burnley and QPR in the championship next season.

I do not for see Sunderland beating Chelsea, therefore a Sunderland win against Leicester on the 16th and a draw or loss for Leicester on the 24th will see Leicester go down. However should Leicester win or draw against Sunderland on the 16th I predict it will be Sunderland that go down.

14 Leicester 38
15 Aston Villa 38
16 Hull 37
17 Newcastle 36
18 Sunderland 33
19 QPR 32
20 Burnley 26

Thnk that puts both Sunderland and Newcastle on 35 points ?

Newcastle + Sunderland relegated, Middlesbrough through to premiership via the playoffs (touch wood, avoid ladders, seek a four leaf clover etc) = A Teesiders wet dream. Keeping the faith! :D

On your predictions Phil that would put Newcastle down on goal difference.

I just can't see Newcastle getting a point from anywhere at the moment mate

Everyone else seems to be able to grab something so far

A teesiders dream it may be, but barring a miracle, QPR and Burnley are down, and it'll be Sunderland, Newcastle, Leicester, Hull or Villa that will join them. Sunderland have by far the hardest run in, but Newcastle are a broken team, who I think will have to rely on others results to keep them in the premiership.

You're spot on, Newcastle couldn't get a point on fantasy island at the minute, as I've put above, it'll be others misfortunes that will save Newcastle from the drop, not them getting any points.

Would agree with those predictions, problem is, there is always one or two twists and turns, would expect Everton to beat Sunderland at Goodison, but they've had a decent couple of results against us last few seasons and our season is over, Burnley may get a bit of luck.
Great finish for the nuetral though.

yeah its dangerous to rely on others to slip up - Sunderland i think are your best bet - Leicester got a bit of steam up at the moment

Villa to beat West Ham, surely.

Newcastle have the easiest run in but are currently the most inept. They have just announced Carver will stay for the last three matches. Why? May just have sealed relegation. It really depends on Sunderland getting points because I don't think anyone can see Newcastle getting many at this stage. The rest, including Leicester for me, will be okay. It is a Tyne / Wear end of season bash up.

Correct

I said a few games ago we'd go down. I honestly can see us losing out last 3 games. Just depends if those below is do the same or not

If that happens then I think Sunderland hold the key to your fate. If they get enough to overtake you it will need to be in the next two games because the last 2 games are about the worst you could ask for in their position; away to the teams in 1st and probably 2nd place.

Hull might do themselves a favour tonight as Arsenal might be a bit deflated as the league is out of their grasp, I think Leicester should have enough about them, although the game against Sunderland could throw everything up in the air.

Whoever wins the Sunderland v Leicester game stays up and the other will go. Simple as that. Think QPR and Burnley have too much ground to make up and won't survive

If QPR beat N'castle at Loftus Rd the Leicester 'v' QPR game could see QPR stay up. Agree Burnley are gone.
