Money List Winner
Im on a roll tonight aren't i?..
Anyway im sure im not the only one on here with a young family very little money or time to practice and moderate facilities..
So armed with this i decided to set up a net in my back yard for hitting balls into which i got from my builders next door...its used around scaffoldings to stop stuff from falling off...Works a treat..

Is it really necessary to see the ball flight?
As last week was my first week with the net at home and i saw a marked improvement in my ball striking at the weekend already..Deep divots have gone to shallow ones and i was hitting nearly all shots with a draw all because i put the weight back onto my heels a little more in the backswing. It had me attacking the ball im thinking from the inside.
So now i have decided to save 10 euro's a week just for the range but im going to spread this out over 3 nights for ball.Just so that i can see my ball flight and make sure what im at ,at home is actually working..It works out at 3 euro's for 40 balls..
I dont drink or smoke so im not really tied for money for that crack.
My chipping is spent at home in the yard too..Mostly technique as i havent the facilities of different heights of rough.
I do my putting on the carpet at home an spend about an hour once a week at the club before my competitions as its easier than leaving the family during the week.
So can one get better by practising at home or am i just wasting my time?
