Doesn't anyone ever read the free info that comes with new trolleys and batteries?
1. Put on charge as soon as possible after playing, even if only a few holes played.
2. Leave on charge until next needed (assuming within a month or two). The trickle charge keeps the battery in top condition and hardly uses any electricity.
3. DON'T fully discharge. Despite what some Forum closet experts say, every supplier of specialist (golf) batteries who's info I have actually read say the same thing. From personal experience I can also confirm that it does not do the battery any good. We have also had confirmation from Sandie at GK on this point. OK for nicads, not for deep cycle golf batteries.
