Hi folks,

I'm looking at buying something to keep my elbows in, and parallel which will help give me a more upright swing plane. Has anyone used a powerband before? Are they just a glorified elastic band? And are they worth it?
Thanks

Cut the top and bottom out of a two litre coke bottle, slip the coke bottle over your left elbow and take your backswing.

Check your neighbour's bins for the empty bottles, saves you buying one. ;)
Thing is crawford, these straps are normally to stop the flying right elbow on the backswing.
Although, that never held Big Jack back at all :)

Did your pro say you had a flying right elbow?

Another money saving idea brought to you by a Scotsman.
He wouldn't have done it if there had been 3d back on the bottle
:D

um....um....surely not the answer. :)

You're thinking straight left arm. :D

I have a powerband thing...the IZZO one.

It's flexible, so it won't actually STOP you from doing anything, but if it serves to remind your brain and helps a little, I'd recommend you give one a go.

Great for pitching practise too.

Lol at the bottle! Why not selotape a scalpel to the inside of your bicep, sharp end pointing to the wrist. That'll stop it!

Not guaranteed to stop it, but if you forget you'll only do it the once

Yep, I tried this idea about 12 years ago, I broke it straight away :D
