Yeah, I don't get the Poulter hate.
All I see is a guy that pumps himself up with self belief.
I've never seen him say or do anything that would be considered rude or disrespectful. (Tiger *cough*)
In fact the times I have seen him off course (i.e. having a knock about with spooney) He comes across as a nice bloke.
He's a world class athlete and as such has to use psychology to get himself in the zone. You can see it now, he's strutting round the course as fast as he can to keep his momentum going. It may come across as arrogance but I can assure you it's not.
Even the commentators on GC were saying that British golf has come on in recent years as we've started to develop a self belief and confidence, and the first thing that some of you do is try and knock a guy for displaying it???

Best post on this thread IMHO.

I don't see Poulter as arrogant, just lots of self belief, which any top successful sportsperson needs to have to succeed. As for Paul Casey, I've seen him at last years Wentworth, and arrogant he was not. Just happy, relaxed and walking along with a spring in his step.

Great to see another 2 Brits at the top of their game, especially with the Ryder Cup coming up, and other Majors of course.
