Pot Holes

Let’s be honest !
if all the taxes motorists pay was used for the roads they would be like billiard tables with under floor heating for winter ,
But it’s not and never will be .
Anyone who’s car is damaged by poor road surface should go to the small claims court.
If enough people sue the council maybe they will do something but don’t hold your breath.

The treasury give the council its cash they decide what the priority is I think.

the council seem to have plenty of tarmac to build speed humps but not enough to fill pot holes. Strange that

I can't remember offhand, but there was a good reason.

Probably because they do everything in their power to fob you off and tie you in knots with paperwork...

I was still in a Union, when I made my claim, and as I was on my home from work, when I damaged my vehicle, I was able to have the unions solicitors deal with my claim and got a full pay out...

You can only sue the council if you can prove that the pot hole has been reported to the council and they have not done anything about it.
