Some artists acrylic with a tiny paintbrush, then sealed it with clear nail polish as you can get into the fill with supplied brush. Was thinking about changing the colour.

Ah cool, not tried that. I used some metal paint on wedges a while back. Worked well, but only have blue.

It was fairly easy although time consuming to do, the benefit of using artists acrylic is there are thousands of colours to choose from.

whats the durability like with it?

I have yet to have a problem with mine but I done it with plenty of thin coats and good time between to dry a bit, then once the coating is on it is waterproof too.
