heading here on thursday for the first time. what holes should i look forward to playing in particular.

since i dont play links golf that often i enjoy the challenge when the opportunity comes around. the greens are usually rock hard on any links courses i play but is there a chance that these greens will be soft with all the recent rain. or are links greens always firm?

:p

your probably right. im sure ill find out when i fly on the back of the 1st. must practice some bump and runs then before thursday!

Which course are you playing mate The Strand or The Riverside, i've played the Strand over 20 times and played there 3 times just over a week ago?

The course was in great nick and the greens were true and fast, the front 9 holes will be like nothing you've played before, expect at least a 5hour round.

we played here today after we got the game rearranged due to the weather last week. great day out. course in fine nick. greens were true but i didnt think they were overly fast. nice to putt on. bunkers were nice even thought i was only in one.

my brother and i won our match 3 and 2. collected the £3 :)

nice grub in the swanky clubhouse after. very little wind today which was a bonus!

i really feel my game is better equiped to face the links test! buzzing! 33 points which wasnt too shabby for my first time around the track :)
