Going to play Portal in Cheshire on Saturday.

Anyone played it? If so what's it like?

The Championship course is stunning mate, always enjoyed it when I used to get there quite a bit (place I used to work for often had conferences there)
Some cracking views in the right weather, great view of Jodrell Bank.
The club house has some great touches. visitors very welcome.
Expect your shoes to have been polished by the time you get back in.

Result! It will be the first time in a few months!!

They have opened up the course for free this weekend (only found out I was playing yesterday) so I don't know if we'll get the full treatment.
