Pop up tabs opening - problem

Anyone else getting a new internet explorer tab opening with some rubbish advertising on it? Been happening a couple of days now.

Not yet but give it time I'm bound to get it eventually. Wasn't the problem before from another IPC site (Rugby World) when we had all those car ads popping up. The GM IT guys managed to fix it the following week

Switch to FireFox...it's a fine browser but doesn't have the security issues that often go with IE. I use it with the Google toolbar and never have any issues with popups on this site.

I have IE and no problems so far.
