I'm fairly sure this has been asked before but can't remember the answers. I need to polish out a mark on the top of a wood, hopefully good enough for a sale.

any recommendations

T cut? I use a fairly benign plastic polish I bought from RS, but I can't see why T cut wouldn't work. Just go very gently, it doesn't take much. If you are through to the metal, nothing will help.

T-Cut for metallic is apparently even "gentler".

There is also a product available from car accessory outlets that, in theory, can be used for polishing out fine scratches by effectively filling the scratch with the polished out surrrounding paint.

Don't know if either would be suitable for a club though. :D

JML sell a scratch restorer through supermarkets, it's meant for cars but should do a good job if you go steady.

I had a go with the T-cut Metallic. It was more like a surface 'bruise' and it has taken it completely out.

Of course I now have enough for a lifetime's club polishing!

If you're not going to need it again mate send it on to me. HID has got a metallic painted car with more than a few bruises on it. :D :D
