Tiger is struggling. Am I the only one that thinks if he struggles to 8th at TPC Sawgrass, then the rest of the field have a lot to fear when he finds his game again?

Or when he says "I'll fix it" is he playing mind games? Is there a major problem? I have to say, I've never seen him fall away so poorly on the final day but is this criticism a little premature after his eight-month lay off?

All I know is I wish I'd backed Stenson at 50/1 instead of ignoring our tipster's advice.

What do we all think?

He went through the same sort of loss of form in 2003 -2004 when he last changed his swing.

He did it to try and ease stress on his knee, this time he has changed his swing as he now has a knee to work with and once he finds his mojo again (which he will) he will come back stronger than he ever has been IMHO.

I guess the question should be - is he working on a major swing change which is taking time to bed in or was it just a loss of form?

If its the former I'd be pretty worried that once he gets it right he'll be back better than ever. Is it a technical change though or more remedial work to protect the leg?

If it was a loss of form then it would be a very rare chink in his armoury and could act as a boost to his nearest challengers that his game is not being tinkered with and that is fallable over the closing stretch on a Sunday.

Either way the next few weeks in the build up to the Open will be interesting viewing

I think too many people are reading too much into him not winning everything.

After all he has won once and had a few top 10's since his return hasn't he?

It's not like he has been missing cuts and coming last!

Who cares ............

Sick of hearing about him

same here !!! i want to hear some of the new players :D
In America recently and thats all they were interested in the Tiger Woods show the Masters Champion Angel Cabrrera hardly got a mention, it was all about what Tiger didnt do . I'm personally bored to tears of hearing about him reading about him, he gives nothing to the fans not even a smile where as Mickelson has time for everyone.

I've said it before on here, but I find him arrogant, rude, and petulant most of the time. Its only when he's won, or winning, that he is remotely couteous to anyone.
Like you say, Mickelson and many others are far more humble and interesting to listen to, and indeed watch as far as I am concerned.

It was interesting when he went out of contention on Sunday that Setanta decided to concentrate on the leaders, as they should have of course. It was great to see Stenson and Poulter in the mix with the former showing Tiger what he's been missing on the final day.

Tiger certainly isn't loved by everyone and as Iain Carter pointed out in this month's issue, he certainly needs to be a little more gracious. Who was more annoyed on the Sunday...Sergio or Tiger...both of them looked ready to explode! I wonder how aware Tiger is of this kind of criticism.

Tigers just a big baby when things dont go his way , just like Garcia and Monty for that matter.

I for one would prefer these pampered pros to show a bit of humility and appreciate just what a good gig they've got. Jeez they had to work so hard to get there why cant they enjoy it and give us a smile or a wry grin when its not so good.

Setanta take their feed from the host American broadcaster so only show what the Yanks want us to see.

I predict that he won't even finish in the top 10 at the Open

That's quite a prediction Smiffy, especially when you consider he's supposed to have been playing so poorly and still not finished outside the top 10 yet this year.

But there again, alot of people won't finish inside the top 10 at The Open this year. :p
