Played to your handicap?

looks like the big 10.0 next time out for me - although I feel I am playing well (as the Surrey Tour events illustrate).

Open at Princes Monday, club comp Wed and Surrey Tour event Friday next week - absolutely anything could happen at all 3! :)

Not yet but the lack of competitions is the reason. Constantly beating it over 9 holes, friendly games or in non qualifiers.

The lack of qualifiers is just frustrating, when they have come they are at a time when my game is at a low or I haven't played for weeks.

Only played the one comp so far this year and it was a non-qualifier, scored 42 so if I can keep that sort of form up for a while the cuts should come pretty quickly. Interestingly I only came second in my division in that one, the winner got 44:eek:

Happy to announce that I did, finally, play to my handicap today. Of course, it was only off the yellows, but 37 pts still counts. Extra happy because it was a new PB of 95 for me.

Now, if I can sort my short game out, sub 90 can't be too far away.

For me playing to my handicap means playing to it on a medal round, what do you think?
Oh and by the way no I haven't managed it yet this year!

So playing a bounce game to or better than your handicap doesn't count..?
Not to handicap adjustments but surely it counts in this instance, after all Golf is Golf ....

1 cut of 0.2 and two 0.1 back after today. Just couldnt get off the tee with the big dog, although took great pride in striping the 3w past a 17 year old 9capper on most tee shots

Don't get me started.

4 over for the front 9 yesterday hitting it sweet, followed by 12 over for the back 9 hitting it like a chopper.

Managed to limp in playing bang on to handicap

Should have been soooo much better :(
