Was the winner of a 4 ball for the Heritage, the Seve designed course in Ireland, where the Seve Trophy was held last year. Considering the rain we had in Ireland yesterday and this morning we expected the course to be rather soggy. The course was in terrific condition. The bunkers were out of play and we had to lift and drop in the rough but the fairways and greens were perfect.

What a fantastic course, nothing tricky or unfair just a well designed course. The wind was blowing a gale which made some holes rather difficult but all four of us throughly enjoyed the game.

I have to agree it is a good course but I have to question:

....course was in terrific condition. The bunkers were out of play and we had to lift and drop in the rough....

It's a shame Ireland is so wet as many of the courses K Club, Adare, Dromoland, Glasson, Killarney are just unplayable in the winter as the roughs (and fairways) are so wet...it's not really proper golf dropping back onto the fairway is it...

In fairness to the course we had significant rainfall for on friday-a number of courses were closed for the weekend.

The fairways were dry and in pristine condition. The drainage system works as all the water was off the fairways and in the run off areas.
