Played Callaway Tour IX tonight

Had a sleeve of these floating about. They were my favoured ball. Thought they would be shocking but it was a revelation. The back spin was awesome, I could fire in at the flags. I had not been doing that for years... I was loving it. Distance off the tee, measured average 255 yards which is long enough.
I then chucked a Vice Pro, longer drive, hop and stop but no back spin ...
So now I have 2 brand new balls left ...

Personally, I'd prefer the performance of the Vice!

A ball that hops and stops is much more predictable let than a ball that is going to zip back, but you don't know how much.
