I have only been home for 4 weeks and i managed to get down from 5.3 to 3.1 cause i managed to hit some form. which is still going strong. The biggest help is my chipping. I had major problems with chipping before which i would struggle and would mean it would put more pressure on my shots into the green cause i knew my short game was poor.
One day a few weeks ago i read in a mag about chipping etc is lift ur right heel slighty to help with weight put forward. GOD it helped alot and am still doing it and i have improved majorly in short game so am not worried at all if miss green
Try it. it really works. Such a simple change but with major results. Just need to see my scoring the last 3 weeks.
You shaved 2.2, technically 22 shots better than your handicap in just 28 days!!!!!!!!
I find that incredible!
And given the number of medals in a month, I find it unattainable!
Not all my golf was at my home club. When am home i play in opens all over which shows i was able to get cut the amount i have.
Did you get in the money at Grantown-on-Spey (my old club) in the 36 hole open? That 1st round must have been exciting, just checked your scores, that's a very good front 9. What happened in round 2?
I won section 1 (0-9) there a few years ago for a good few quid in vouchers, managed a gross 30 on the back 9 in round 1 for a one under par 69, only one of 2 times I've been under par in a qualifying comp.
